Richard has worked as a corporate role-player for nearly 20 years and now includes facilitation into his skillset.

His work has incorporated staff training and candidate assessment; concentrating on specific skills such as team building, interviewing, leadership, influencing, storytelling and negotiating. He has developed a deep and comprehensive understanding of personality profiling tools, coaching models and negotiation practice and ensures that he has as full an understanding as necessary of the skills that companies are looking to assess or develop. He can then help to tailor the role he plays accordingly to give a consistent level of challenge for participants’ development. His observations and feedback help clients to understand how the participant made the roleplayer feel and can bring to light communication and interpersonal skills that may otherwise go unnoticed.

More recently, Richard has been facilitating courses in communication skills and behaviours around the themes of assertiveness, leading others and challenging conversations. Richard prides himself on the ability to put participants at ease and to create a safe environment in which to try out new skills.
